The winters bring lots of snow to play in. Snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and dog sledding can’t be beat on our freshly groomed trails which meander through the forests to Crater Lake National Park, Crescent-O’Dell Lakes, Diamond Lake, and our very own Miller Lake. For more information on the 2015 Chemult dog sled races check out www.sleddogchemult.org. Check out our Recreational Activities page for links to snowmobiling information.
The summers bring us an abundance of sunshine in which to enjoy the wide variety of outdoor recreational opportunities such as hiking, biking, bird watching, camping, boating, fishing, hunting, & exploring the Volcanic Legacy lands which surround us.
Summer also brings Chemult Mountain Days. This is a family-friendly summer festival held each July. The event features a carnival, vendors, food, children's activities, and more! A couple highlights of the festival are the pie eating contest and the nightly music and dancing. The 2014 Chemult Mountain Days will be held July 11-13. Check out our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ChemultMountainDays for updates and schedule.
